The castle, home of big families of Brienne, reknown figures , the mark of Napoléon and the city that was for a while named "Brienne - Napoléon", traditional champenois heritage and the reconstruction of the city after 1940. The three passings of Napoléon were his 5 years spent at the Royal Military school, 1805 young emperor and 1814 for the french campaign and the battle of Brienne.
