The garden scenography, inspired by the medieval and liturgical style of the Madeleine church, recalls the history of the place and presents a collection of plants in predominant green and white colours, symbols of eternity, purity and wisdom. Situated on an ancient cemetery adjoining the Sainte-Madeleine church, the oldest in Troyes (12th century), the Innocents' garden invites the public to appreciate the hidden face of the church by discovering the remains of a vaulted funeral gallery with pointed arches. The site allowing an extension of the garden, the service of the Landscape Spaces proposes a different discovery of the flora. The public is invited to observe, through breakthroughs, areas of natural biodiversity.
