The famous Abbaye du Paraclet has lost its buildings of the 12th century, today it make up an abbey home of the 17th, a larder to monks of the 16th and 17th century and a chapel of the late 19th.Many historical events occurred at the Abbaye du Paraclet, but the one that haunts the site with the most passions is the impossible love of Heloise and Abelard. You can visit the outside of buildings and the vault under the church, you will see the obelisk symbolizing the place where was probably buried the famous couple.Guided tours only - last visit at 11:30am and 5:30pm
